Terms of Use & Licensing Agreement

This Terms of Use & Licensing Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access to and use of the following services (collectively, the “Services”):

These Services are operated by EdTech-Training, a collaboration between Script Wizard LLC and Canvas Queen ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services.

 

1. Use of Services

You may use the Services for lawful, educational purposes only and in accordance with this Agreement. You agree not to:

  • Violate any local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.

  • Interfere with the integrity or performance of the Services.

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the Services or any associated systems.

  • Share or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.

 

2. User Accounts

To access certain features, including course materials, you may need to register an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current account information.

  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.

  • Notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to modify or remove usernames that we determine to be inappropriate.

 

3. Course Access & Licensing

  • Access Duration: Upon registration or purchase, you are granted access to our training courses for the period specified at checkout or contract (typically one calendar year).

  • Individual Use: Each registration is valid for one individual and is non-transferable. Sharing login credentials or course content is prohibited.

  • License Utilization: A license is considered utilized once a user accesses the training platform and engages with course content.

  • Bulk Licensing: Schools, districts, and organizations may purchase licenses in bulk at discounted rates. Additional licenses will follow the same service dates as the original agreement.

  • Transferability: Unused licenses may be reassigned within the original agreement term.

 

4. Payment & Fees

  • Fees apply to certain courses or premium features and will be disclosed at the time of purchase.

  • All prices are listed in US dollars and may include applicable sales tax.

  • You agree to provide up-to-date payment information and complete purchases on time.

  • Refunds: All sales are final unless otherwise stated in a specific offer or promotion. For full details, please review our Refund Policy available on the EdTech-Training website.

 

5. Intellectual Property
​

All course content and site materials—including videos, documents, code, images, and branding—are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for personal educational purposes only. You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or modify materials

  • Share or resell access

  • Use materials for commercial gain without written consent

 

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.

By using the Services, you consent to the collection and handling of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

 

7. Submissions & Contributions
​

If you submit content through the Services (e.g., comments, feedback, or posts), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and modify such content for service-related purposes.

You agree not to submit content that is:

  • Defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise illegal

  • In violation of any third-party intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content and may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

 

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to any portion of the Services

  • Circumvent security features or share unauthorized access

  • Use scripts, bots, or data-scraping tools

  • Upload malware, spam, or disruptive code

  • Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity

  • Use the Services for commercial endeavors not expressly approved by us

Violations may result in the termination of your account and legal action.

 

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate this Agreement. You may terminate your use of the Services by contacting us directly.

Your rights to access or use course materials and services will be revoked upon termination.

 

10. Disclaimers
​

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Services will meet your needs

  • The Services will be error-free or uninterrupted

  • Any results from using the Services will be accurate or reliable

We are not responsible for the content of third-party sites linked within our Services.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

  • Lost profits or data

  • Any claim exceeding the amount paid by you for the specific course or service during the six (6) months preceding the issue

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain liabilities, so these limitations may not apply in full to all users.

 

12. Changes to the Agreement

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with a revised "Effective Date." Continued use of the Services indicates your acceptance of the updated Agreement.

 

13. Governing Law
​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which EdTech-Training operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
